  • The 1955 'flying saucers' details come the same week as 'dynamite' witnesses are set to speak to Congress Wednesday to testify about their firsthand knowledge about UFOs.

  • Efron, Senator Richard Russel (D-GA), and Lt Col E. U. Hathaway traveled between Atjaty and Adzhijabu in the Soviet Union on October 5, 1955.
  • Russell supported a large military buildup throughout the Cold War, but it is unknown why the three men were in the USSR then.
